Breaking the Habit of Self-Editing
When ever I hear someone doing the opposite of self-editing- speaking their mind- I file away how they did it so I can borrow it for myself! I always find it so inspiring!
That’s a great strategy, Claire (I found my ability to self-edit becomes way too hard at certain times of the month too 😅)
I always say what I mean, but I might have multiple ways of saying it. I may take days formulating and practising until I get my script just right.
It took a couple or more days to reply to your newsletter, which is brilliant.by the way.
I also have the privilege of being male, middle class, white and old! BUT never stale!
It’s hard work, huh? I’ve been told so many times that I’m too direct / blunt / harsh.
