Letting go of comparisons & judgments are the 2 biggest cords to cut! In my lane I can go 100 miles hour the traffic in any other lane is heavy burdensome and stalled.
I love all of this, Stacia. Reclaiming Joy is what it’s all about (and also made me giggle as one of the wonderful ladies in the photo (black and white dress) is called Joy!)
Wow… where have you been all my life? These words were like a much needed cool drink on a hot day. Refreshing, revitalizing and exactly the community I’ve been searching for. I’ve been deconstructing my faith for about five years and reconstructing has been scary and unsettling as I challenge deeply engrained belief systems that I never fully embraced. So what would I give up… caring about what others think. That would be my freedom and liberation from patriarchy.
Hey Rachele - well, you just made my day. Thank you for your kind words. It's terrifying when you realise that everything you thought you knew/believed/valued was given to you to keep you playing small and behaving. Ooh yes - that's a big one. My go-to is not taking 'feedback' from someone you wouldn't go to for advice... some people are simply not your people. And that is ok! (Honestly, 10 years of working through this stuff).

Reclaiming Joy one simple freedom at a time x

One of my sayings is that we are closest and most like God (divinity) when we are being who we were created to be.
Oh wow - that gave me goosebumps! Thank you so much for sharing, Florence!
Thank you for your post 😊

I don't know what this means, Melanie - can you explain?
Hey Brian. Can you explain what you mean by that?
No
